Welcome to my website, and that of Chipping Barnet Labour Party. Here you can see what we were saying at the General Election held on 6th May 2010, at which I was the Labour Parliamentary Candidate.

THANK YOU

A big Thank You to all of those electors in Chipping Barnet who supported me in the General Election on 6th May 2010. We did not win the Election in this seat, and Labour lost nationally, but we played our part in debating the issues, and engaged with very many people during the period of the campaign. We came second in Chipping Barnet, and remain the challengers to the Conservatives at both constituency and local council level.

I was very grateful for the many expressions of support, and good wishes, from electors here. I have been very privileged to have twice served as Labour Parliamentary Candidate in this seat.

The Labour Party will continue to fight for the needs of ordinary people and families, and to advance the cause of democratic reform in our country.  We will form a responsible Opposition in Parliament to the Conservative-Liberal Democrat Government, and continue to make the case for Labour in the coming years. I look forward to playing my part in that fight.

With best wishes,

Damien Welfare
